During the Agroactiva 2026 edition, at TANZI we experienced a very special event, a new launch that brings the highest technology to all producers: the new Special 4 GEN 3 seeder.
Once again, TANZI has prepared a major launch event, which, as usual, is set to revolutionize planting. A new seeder with world-class technology is now within reach of all producers, allowing them to save thousands of dollars by eliminating input overlap.
The new Special 4 GEN 3 is a multipurpose Air Drill seeder for fine and coarse grains, available in 7 to 12m versions. It boasts a high input capacity of 8,000 liters in two compartments (60%-40%) and unique features such as the TANZI IntelliFlow metering system with automatic sectional cut-off in 4 zones, which allows producers to save thousands of dollars by preventing input overlap.
The Special 4 GEN 3 seeder incorporates the new TANZI NEXUS seed controller with ISOBUS technology. This controller interacts with all the machine's systems, including the new TANZI SmartCal input weighing and self-calibration system. It allows for automatic calibration of dosage rates without the need to leave the tractor cab. This is possible thanks to the weighing cells installed in each of the input compartments. The SmartCal system not only facilitates calibration but also prevents errors and maximizes the machine's operating range by constantly displaying the remaining kilograms of inputs in the hopper on the controller.
The fourth major launch is the TANZI Optiflow relative input flow control system. This sensing system is not a conventional system that simply indicates whether or not a seed is passing through. Thanks to its high readability, Optiflow shows the operator, in a relative flow graph, the difference in inputs being applied between each metering unit, as well as between each outlet of the same unit, allowing for a precise understanding of the work being performed.
TANZI's technology package is completed with the well-known TANZI DynamicForce downforce system for furrow openers, which replaces traditional preload springs. With DynamicForce, now controlled via NEXUS, the operator can set the downforce of the furrow opener from the tractor cab. This system improves furrow opener stability, single-seed metering, and therefore, emergence uniformity and yield potential.
